Know thyself.... Ancient words. Simple advice. Advice that
is more relevant today than ever before. Know thyself.
The more you learn to know and nurture your true self, the
more available you are to love yourself--not in an egotistical
way, but in a healthy way. This healthy love is part of your
evolution in this lifetime, and it is the glue that connects
your mind with your body and your spirit.
Once you begin to feel this connection, you become able to
share this love with others. Ultimately, this love will come
back to you... This is the circle of life-- this IS the ultimate
connection. This circle is the flow, the Tao of life, and it is
your birthright as a human being on this planet.
Many people today are ready for a change, feeling a need for
something more profound, something more deeply felt--a
connection--a knowing and a loving of their true self. But
they don't quite know where to look, or even what they're
looking for. In essence, we seek connection--with ourselves,
with each other, with the earth, and with our source.
The world would like us to believe that this connection, this
something, is outside of ourselves, something that must be
sought, bought, or taught; but in essence, if we look with our
in-sight---our vision that sees from inside of ourselves---we
would see that we already have all that we could possibly
ever need. Through this inner vision we can identify and
make the connection. To look outside for what you already
have is like trying to bite your own nose. You can't buy what
cannot be sold, and you can't learn what cannot be taught;
you can only recognize it, like a long-lost friend or a part of
yourself, waiting to be rediscovered and nurtured--just
waiting to connect.
When you begin to find your feet on the correct path for you,
you'll recognize it, even if you've never been there before;
you'll just know. Sounds too simple, doesn't it? Have you
ever driven through an area where you've never been
before? You have that feeling of navigating, coupled with
uncertainty. But then you 'get your bearings' and you begin
to know which way you're going, with a comfortable feeling
of being on the correct path--you just know.
As in nature, migrating animals listen as their inner nature
gives them direction toward their destination. They don't
use a map; instead they use an inner compass. Their inner
guide points the way; they just know. We too have an
inner compass. But in order to use it, we must first realize
that it is there. Then we can just know, and we too can find
True self-knowledge rests upon your own shoulders. Only
you can figure yourself out. Luckily, there are many tools
within reach to help you understand and gain this valuable
insight. My website was created in an effort to share with
you the wisdom I've gathered over the years.
Know that the path of life is a circular path,
one that always leads back to you.
May your path be wide; may your circle be strong.
My path's been blessed in many ways,
but it's not been easy.
It's had its share of bumps along the way.
But I took notes... So come on in, the path is clear.
