For those who don't know me,
I'll tell you a little bit about myself...
My heart belongs to the glorious Great Lakes state of
Michigan, and my spirit soars within the red rocks of
Sedona, and to the depths of Grand Canyon, Arizona. I've
lived and loved in both places. I am a natural-born teacher
and sharer of wisdom. I have a deep and profound love of
animals, and an innate reverance for the earth. I've been
'green' all my life, long before the term was cool. I love all
things British, particularly my husband--straight from the
cobblestone streets of Stratford-Upon-Avon. I have a
beautiful daughter and a wonderful family, and I pray for
world peace with every breath I take.
I have intense passions and talents, many of which include
writing, yoga, handwriting analysis, and sharing fascinating
information with people.
I have a "M.O.L.E." --a Master of Life Experience--with an
undergraduate degree from the School of Hard Knocks,
(that's one expensive student loan), and I speak fluent body
language. I am deeply in touch with my inner clown, and
my favorite time of year is right now.
One of my biggest accomplishments is the completion of my
first book, The Spirit of Health: Mind-To-Toe Self-Care for
Women. A how-to book on living with passion and purpose,
and learning to love yourself so you can move forward with
joy. The SOH has been called 'an encyclopedia of health and
spirituality...'a compendium of wisdom and light.' This
year The SOH will be re-launched, and it will reach the
world as it was meant to be.
I'm a soul proprietor and a connectionist. I believe so deeply
in the inter-connection of all beings with all of nature, that I
can hardly stand watching what humanity is doing. But alas,
I believe in the overall power of love, so I move forward
with positivity, careful of where I place my karma.
So that's me in a nutshell.
I'll close with a quote from The Spirit of Health....
"There are exceptional moments in our lives, moments that
stand out from the rest, and with far-reaching fingers that
touch our souls, they weave the seemingly insignificant
moments with the exceptional. These moments--the
extraordinary and the ordinary--all become our personal
tapestry, changing our vision, changing our views, changing
our lives. What are your moments? Mine are the birth of my
daughter, the first time I saw the Grand Canyon, the day
I swam with dolphins, the day I felt love for the first time,
and the day The Spirit of Health was complete."
Soon, The Spirit of Health will be re-launched. Check out
the "Music and Podcast" page of this website, to listen to a
recent radio interview where I describe how I wrote The
Spirit of Health, and my plans for its rebirth.
Meanwhile, I thought I'd show you the beautiful
cover. While writing it, I dreamt these images and described
them to artist Cathy Dyer. The SOH includes some quotes
from Cathy's well-respected uncle, as well as a few other
wise folks. My book also enjoyed having the photographic
talents of Jill Andra Young.
Excerpt from page 447 of The Spirit of Health:
"Know who you are and be sure of it. Know that the only
person you have to prove anything to is yourself. Be strong
in your knowledge and your gathered wisdom. Every day
plant the seeds of peace in your world and strive to
grow deeper toward your ultimate connection--union with
the Divine Spirit...
Know that each and every step you take in life sends out a
far-reaching ripple into the Universal pond, and every day
each of us makes an individual difference--so step with care,
step with deliberation, step with peace... May you continue
to grow, secure in the knowledge that right now you
Thank you for connecting
and crossing paths...
